Last weekend I went to the roller derby. It was probably the most Austin-y thing I’ve done since being in Austin
And it was so. much. fun.

For my birthday today we took High Tea at a local British cafe, before playing a game of bowling and enjoying delicious late-night Thai food.
From my friends I scored a Hobbit t-shirt, a Loki action figure, a gift card to the Alamo Drafthouse, and a jade plant with googly eyes. It’s like they know me or something.
All in all, I couldn’t have asked for a better “first” birthday in Austin ♡

I drive for 45 minutes and im likea city over
I live in “Italy” and took a day trip to go to “Austria” and “Germany”
You guys Y’all, this is my life now. I cannot even tell you how weird it has been to go from crossing the border every single day, or to be able to be three states away in just over an hour, to not crossing a state border for almost a year.
Everywhere I go is just…TEXAS.
